Welcome to the Diocese of St. Paul The Apostle (Mid-America), a diocese within the Anglican Province of Christ the Good Shepherd. Our geographical territory includes Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

What We believe

We Are The Body

And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

We believe the three streams of Christianity - evangelical, sacramental, and charismatic - must work in harmony with one another in order for the Church, the body of Christ, to be perfected in Him and to be effectual in this world.

We Are Orthodox Christians

Then Peter said unto them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38)

We proudly proclaim, “Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all!” We believe that the Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of God, passed down through His chosen disciples to guide, strengthen, and comfort all who would turn to Him. We believe in the Holy Trinity. We believe in the Seven Sacraments of the Church, with special emphasis on Holy Baptism with water and regular celebration of the Holy Eucharist. We believe in the Baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Died For Our Sins

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

We believe Jesus Christ willingly gave His life for us on the cross at Calvary in order that ALL humans who truly repent and turn to Him will receive forgiveness of their sins, be blessed beyond their imagination in this life, and will live with Him in Heaven throughout eternity.

He Is Risen

And the angel saith unto them, “Be not afraid; ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: behold He is risen; He is not here: behold the place where they laid Him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see Him, as He said unto you.”(Mark 16:6-7)

We believe that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins, was buried and, on the third day, rose again and appeared before His disciples not only in spirit, but in bodily form - prior to His ascension into Heaven.

He Sent The Holy Spirit

And He said unto them, “ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 1:8a, 2:3-4)

We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to comfort, strengthen, encourage and guide the lives of every person on earth that call on Him to be their Lord and Savior.

He Will Return

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all of the tribes of earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory. “ And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Matthew 24:30 & Revelation 22:12-13)

We believe that Jesus will return to reclaim His remnant and in that day, every knee will bow and every tongue will proclaim “JESUS IS LORD!”

We Must Act

Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world.  (Matthew 28: 19-20)

Now is NOT the time to be silent...now is NOT the time for complacency.  If we are to be about the duty of preparing the bride for the Groom's return, we MUST heed the words of the Great Commission.

Come And See

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23)

Our diocesan mission is to accomplish all that we can to further His Kingdom here on earth…now! We serve Him by serving you. Whether laity or clergy, if you are seeking reception into an orthodox Anglican body of true believers, please contact us for further dialogue. If your spirit is quickened and your soul is stirred…let us be about the business of working together in His Name that He may be glorified!

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
